Getting Started with a Registered NDIS Provider
These services cover basic support needs such as dressing and grooming, to more complex care needs for people who need a higher level of specialised supports in their plan.

Here’s a step by step guide to getting started with a Registered NDIS Provider:

Face to face or in-depth call
The second step includes an in-depth phone call or face to face meeting with an experienced team member who discusses what disability supports you require. This enables us to learn more about you and create a profile that includes:
- Types of disability support required
- Likes and dislikes
- Support worker skills
- Days and hours of support
- Any other details you would like us to know about
We like to get to know you so we can match our services and support workers with your preferences.
Paperwork & Service Level Agreement (SLA)
If you’re happy with HCA and our services, we create a quote and SLA (Service Level Agreement) based on the number of days/hours requested. We work with you, your Disability Support Coordinator and/or nominated support person to formalise the paperwork.
Assessment for complex supports
Step 4 is usually for people with complex care needs. At this stage, we assess any physical, behavioural or safety issues in your house and work with your Health professionals, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Dietician or Psychologist to get a clear understanding of any additional needs.
Confirm a start date
Start dates can vary. Standard cases can be turned around in 24 hours, but more complex cases can take longer depending on the situation.
We educate our experienced support workers on your needs and can (in some situations) arrange a meet and greet. We want to make sure you’re happy and have access to a support worker you can call a friend.
It’s that simple! After your first day of receiving supports, HCA will get in touch to discuss any feedback and changes if needed. HCA will be in regular contact to ensure you have the right support. The 24/7 helpline allows you to get in touch any day or time.
